Writing for yourself is like exposing your diary. It can be a little embarrassing at times, but if it helps somebody get through the day just by hearing a song, it's well worth it.

The cool thing about writing music, writing anything, is that once you publish it, it's there forever.

I love writing songs and being a musician, but you can't really buy the feeling of connecting with people.
