Laughter is an important part of a good relationship. It's an immense achievement when you can move from your thinking that your partner is merely an idiot to thinking that they are that wonderfully complex thing called a loveable idiot. And often that means having a little bit of a sense of humour about their flaws.

Humor in a relationship is so important. Many women will say that. Some say, 'If they can make you laugh, it's the sexiest thing on earth.'

And on top of that, when we work together we have a wonderful working relationship we push each other we challenge each other we laugh 80% of the time that we are together we're very fortunate.

Relationship humour gets the most laughs. If I'm able to get the women laughing, men will have to laugh along because they would be scared to death.

When the needs of one person are being met by the other, there is laughter.

When you have a writing partner and you're writing a comedy, your goal is to make each other laugh.

Make her laugh, make her laugh, make her laugh. After all, the strongest relationships are the ones in which you can laugh with your partner through anything.

If you can have a laugh with someone, you're then in each other's world.

Laughter is such a healing thing, and through laughter, we find commonalities with each other. There's a lot of separation in the world, and by creating more things to laugh at, we can create a common ground for open discussion.

Laughter gives us distance. It allows us to step back from an event, deal with it and then move on.
