I like buying iTunes. It's instant.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
I love iTunes as much as anybody. It's very convenient and very easy. But there is nothing like the vibe that you get when you walk into a record store. And I think a lot of people are still thrilled to spend a half hour there and go through the bins and make some purchases.
Obviously, I want it to be legally downloaded, and I myself have spent a fortune on iTunes because, for me, that's the easiest way to get music.
I am such a music fiend. I go after so many different types of music. I'm on iTunes constantly just buying new music!
I use iTunes for downloading music, but I always decline when prompted to update this or that new version.
Don't get me wrong: there are aspects of buying music online that I love. Instantly being able to hear a song the moment it crosses your mind? Where's the downside? However, I do feel for those too young to remember the thrill of going record shopping.
I just got an iPhone, which is cool, but I don't download movies, I don't watch Hulu, I don't have Netflix. I don't do any of that. But I do geek out to music.
I think downloading is both saving and killing the music industry at the same time.
I never download anything; it's crazy! We must keep buying albums and DVDs.
I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. They won't pay me an advance for it and then they get angry when they can't get it.
I don't stream or buy CDs... pretty much everything I buy, I do it on iTunes.
