I love to decorate a room - from the furniture to the objects to the books.

I like everything to be dependable, heavy, English furniture.

I had always been kind of obsessed with making a home of my own and was always drawing rooms that I wanted to live in, down to pictures on the wall and the faces that would be in the photographs, and how the couches would be situated.

Before you begin designing or buying anything, you need to get real and ask yourself: What do you really want to use this room for? What do you want to do in this room but can't now?

There are certain parts of the home that I think embellishment feels cozy and inviting. Then there are other environments, for example, the living room, where I don't have a ton of items on the table.

I'm satisfied with the way 'The Room' turned out, and I don't want to change anything.

Furniture is meant to be used and enjoyed.

The room has to be comfortable; the house has to look habitable.

I mean, even my dressing room at the studio has candles and cushions and cashmere rugs and things.

My favorite piece of furniture is my bed, cause' it's fluffy and so comfortable!
