I will not be able to rule without you. You and I have the same responsibility. I do, as Bolivia's number one servant. Servant - one who serves the nation, not one whom the nation serves.

Bolivia is not yet a country of equals.

I continue to aspire to serve Colombia as president.

I've always admired President Chavez for standing up to imperialism and the meddling of the American government in South America.

Some people might hate someone who is successful, but in Peru, they love it! It makes them feel they can be successful, too. That's a good state of mind for a country that wants to come out of poverty.
