All I want is the same opportunities as the filmmakers I grew up admiring. But you know, I've had lots of amazing opportunities to do the movies I wanted to do. If I could write my future, I'd want to keep making character-based films that can make use of my voice as a filmmaker.

As you build your career, you know where you want to go. I'm definitely moving towards films. That's definitely a goal. I'm definitely going to put it out there.

I would love to do more films. I really like the whole process of doing that. I like how close you become to everybody.

I'm meant to be an animation director. That world, and the culture of stop-motion, is where I want to live. It's more my problem than Hollywood's. I'm not attuned to Hollywood.

I would love to do films. It's just the way things happened for me - I ended up doing a lot of TV.

But probably for the last ten years or so, I've been fitting in animation work into my other projects.
