L.A. is an intense industry town, and there's a side of it that's superficial, but I surround myself with the kind of people who don't let me get sucked into that.

I love the fact that everyone's trying to be good-looking in L.A. - then I turn up and I get work.

I just find that you can become a very boring person living in L.A. I tell you, living there on a day-to-day basis is vacuous: terribly fake.
