There are not the same factual shows anymore - children's TV has become much more trivial.

I was surprised that the TV series was popular itself, but after that it went on to become more popular over the years and thus it seemed eventually that they would turn it into a movie.

It evolved out of the idea to make a kids TV show. And it actually turned out to be a bit dull and a bit regulated and too many people looking over your shoulder and it wasn't really.

I don't think there is enough educational programming, but unfortunately, television is built around advertising and those shows don't get the big ratings.

The idea of the show is that it's active and that children will become involved and watch the show, but also participate in the show. And I didn't know if that would work.

Kids kill a show! It's, like, a fun concept when the character is pregnant, but then if a show runs for a while, I'm sorry, but it gets annoying when it starts to talk. You get a child actor in there, and unless that child actor is freakin' awesome, it's going to be annoying.
