I know people think that I always play these characters who are in control and can chop someone's head off with a look.

When I do my job, I dive into these characters and try to flush something out of myself into these characters, and hopefully that translates well.

If you are supposed to be villainous and have some sort of agenda, I like the idea of delivering that kind of character in a perfectly well-mannered way.

There is always going to be a little bit of me in each character.

What I do is put my characters into situations that are so precarious there is no way to get out. And then I figure how to get them out.
