I don't get it when girls say 'I'm fine' but don't mean it.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
Why are women immobile? Because so many feel like they're waiting for someone to say, 'You're good, you're pretty, I give you permission.'
I think girls especially get so caught up in thinking like, 'Oh I have to be prim or proper or fun and sunshiny' when, like, you can be literally anything. You can be mannish; you can do whatever, and it's acceptable.
Being a good girl means suppressing a lot.
I'm extremely straightforward. And I can't do that sort of traditional girl thing of saying one thing that actually means something else. I never understood it, and I still don't understand it.
I never said I was a 'good girl.' I'm not a bad girl.
I can have as many bad days as anyone. But I choose to say, 'I'm just fine.'
Girls seem to get me in trouble a lot of times.
I've always wanted to make sure people are okay, ever since I was a little girl.
I'm lucky. As soon as I open my mouth, people see I know what I'm talking about, and when I leave the room, I think most say, 'She's OK.'
I'm fine the way I am. There's nothing wrong with me.
