To write, you need to find what you love.

Writing is something that I've always loved. That stems from my love of being a reader.

I try to transmit emotion and soul in my voice, but my true passion has always been writing. I feel more like a writer than anything else.

Write what you love. Love will hold you through the hard times and hold the world during the good times.

I don't think you can write - at least not well - if you don't love stories, love the written word.

I'm very fortunate to be doing what I dreamed of, what I love. So few people get that opportunity. So while people continue liking what I write, I'm going to happily continue.

Write because you love it and not because it is something that you think you should do. Always write about something or somebody you know about - something that you feel deeply and passionately about. Never try and force it.

Writing is a great love of mine.

You have to write badly to write at all. If it's crappy, I will rewrite it later. But it will be mine. You can hear the resonance of an artist who goes into herself.

Writing is sweat and drudgery most of the time. And you have to love it in order to endure the solitude and the discipline.
