How can you be a recluse in a house full of children, even if you had the inclination to be, which I don't?
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
If you've got a lot of children, I think you let the other children bring them up more and you just sort of step in and do stuff like every now and again.
Kids feel like they have to puff up or shrink. These reclusive qualities begin to develop because you feel that who you are is going to either be accepted or rejected by your family and friends.
I am the fourth of five children, and I can't remember a time with no babies in the house.
My kids don't go back and forth; none of this 50/50 time with the mums and dads. My children live with me; that is it.
Children are a house's enemy. They don't mean to be - they just can't help it. It's their enthusiasm, their energy, their naturally destructive tendencies.
Apparently, I've been considered a recluse.
When you are surrounded by children, the child in you comes back.
I've been called a recluse. There's definitely truth in that. I like to spend time alone.
I'm kind of a recluse.
I do become a recluse once in a while. It's so nice to just be at home and to not have to deal with the outside world.
