But why is it that in music, anything more than 5 years old - apart from a few hits - is never played on radio to the young public?

I can't give money away to buy listeners. I can't pay listeners off with phones or food stamps or anything. I can't come by my audience by buying it.

But I also think it's up to the fan base to call in the radio stations and demand that the more mature artists be played as well.

I'm just saying the producers and people who work on music are getting left out - that's when it starts getting criminal. It's like you're working hard, and you're not receiving. In any other business, people would be standing before Congress. They have antitrust laws against this kind of behavior.

You make your music, then you try to find whatever audience is out there for it.

To be in a magazine when you're 20 is okay, but when you do it when you're 65, it's much more fun!
