Normally, we push away the things we're scared of.

It's a fact that people who are in a weakened position, whether physically or mentally, have this perception of the outer world as threatening. Everything that is unexpected or unknown is seen as a potential danger.

Life comes with many challenges. The ones that should not scare us are the ones we can take on and take control of.

There's fear in everything, but we can't just succumb to that. We have to suppress it, so we get used to suppressing fear to make it through the our day. Otherwise, we'd become paralyzed by them.

I think there's a collective consciousness around the world that there are things beyond our control that have the power to annihilate us, as a species, and it's all rather frightening.

Fear is our deepest and strongest emotion, and the one which best lends itself to the creation of nature-defying illusions.

Two dangers constantly threaten the world: order and disorder.

Our world is utterly saturated with fear. We fear being attacked by religious extremists, both foreign and domestic. We fear the loss of political rights, a loss of privacy, or a loss of freedom. We fear being injured, robbed or attacked, being judged by others, or neglected, or left unloved.

We can fear things into existence. Fear looks into the future and imagines the worst that can happen.

I feel like fear is a very real thing, a very ubiquitous thing, and it can be very subtle.
