It's rare for the studios to find a filmmaker who wants to make a family film. To find someone that has an idea, embraces it, has kids and wants to make something exciting - well, they don't see that too often.

With film roles, it just has to be a character either I haven't done before, or a role with somebody really interesting or with an interesting person or group of people.

I haven't done many films. But with every movie, I try to showcase a different side of me through a character.

I just want different parts; I wanna be that guy who people mention and they don't know who you're talking about until you say a few movies they've been in and then people are amazed that it's the same person.

You have to be involved and relate to the characters in order to make a film that is true emotionally.

There are a handful of actors who sustain interest because it's exciting to watch them get better at what they do. I want to be one of those actors.
