Feeding my children is not like feeding myself: it matters more.

Having children is a huge responsibility, and I just don't want to hand them off to a nanny or my mom to take care of them.

I do have a priority in my house, and that is I want my kids to be healthy, and if I give them the right food, I am headed consistently toward that goal.

I worry about putting food on the table, paying for my kids needs, their college fees in years to come. It's about earning enough to have a living to be able to look after your children.

For my kids, I cook everything. We have dinner every night, pretty much, just the four of us: my husband and me and our two kids.

I was the youngest of six kids, so yeah, feeding myself was important, but it's not like I was obsessed with food growing up.

I won't be having any more kids, though. Four is enough.

I have seven children. Even if you got a lot of money, feeding 5, 6, 7, 8 mouths, it will do some damage to your pocket.

By nature, I'm very care-taking. There's something really beautiful about cooking for someone and feeding them.
