Everything's against you; there's no time, and even less money - you bring a bottle of glue, chip in twenty bucks, and hope you all make it through the day. If you manage to finish it and it actually turns out to be pretty good, it's thrilling.

A big budget studio film is slower, they've got so much to create around you. Everything is more complicated.

I'd like to enter in and out of that big budget world, rather than staying in it. It's not the case that the bigger the film, the better it is.

Now it really is, believe it or not, 90% of the films are green lit, not by the studio heads, but by the marketing department.
