It's much easier to cheat than it is to be loyal. Everyone goes through down times. You just don't put yourself in those situations, you know?

In past generations, people would try to play younger than they really are. My trick is, I don't try to play younger than I really am.

You can play older than yourself. You can play younger than yourself up to a point, and then that just becomes impossible because you carry a weight with you that you can't shift, unless you have very boyish looks.

Obviously, you look for something that is commensurate with your age. You know that you can't be playing the young hero anymore, and you have to be relegated to something smaller and something elderly, and you just try and do your best.

As you get older you play in more important games and that is when you start thinking about what will happen if you win or lose.

If you ask any of my close friends, they know I always complain that I never get to play my age.

You cheat yourself when you don't do what it is you're supposed to do. You have an obligation to learn everything that you can.
