I designed and developed an unbelievable number of applications early in my life.

It is true I had been successful on a small scale in overcoming one of the main difficulties in the new process, but there was still much to invent, and much that at that period I necessarily knew nothing about.

I want to prove to people that every single business can be reinvented and fixed. And I want to prove to myself that I'm good at it.

My journey is about believing that people will actually stick around. It's a hard thing to believe when you don't have a prototype for it. I've had to develop that for myself.

From the beginning... I wanted to build a company that could sustain not for two years or four years or even ten years but be something that really matters over time the way Amazon and Google and others have.

I'm an inventor. I became interested in long-term trends because an invention has to make sense in the world in which it is finished, not the world in which it is started.

My work is very carefully researched. Sometimes I have to ditch an idea because I can't prove it.
