When you're not in studios, you don't have any luxuries; you can't control the elements, so you have to put up with those extremes.

Yet, that's what studios do. If one thing works, they'll keep doing it till it runs its course and people aren't interested anymore.

I'm willing to give up a little control but not a lot. So I say I want the money, but when push comes to shove, I'm not sure I'll be able to compromise in order to make the big studio movie. Maybe something in between would be okay, like a low-budget studio film.

I don't want to commit to too many films, as it would result in getting out of touch with what is happening in the industry.

I want to make films and write films, which will happen, I'm just taking a different route right now. I'm a bit of a chameleon with the whole entertainment industry so to speak.

Personally, I'm not interested in getting more money for what I do; I'm just interested in more money being put into the production.

As long as you keep your budgets small, there's a way of making films.

I don't think I'll ever be a producer who's into taking the meetings and fighting the big fights with studios. I really don't like that part. I'm much more interested in the material.

Studios never put pressure. They know the kind of films I want to make.
