Most of us are having to invent, discover, and create the next steps of our lives without a light, a map, or a relevant tradition.

I think that to make something alive, instead of on a page, is an honorable task. And it turns me on.

What I love about the creative process, and this may sound naive, but it is this idea that one day there is no idea, and no solution, but the next day there is an idea. I find that incredibly exciting and conceptually actually remarkable.

Creating something new is the difficult part. To make it and build it and get everyone to follow? Amazing.

Our craft is all we have. So, we should keep it challenging and exciting. Else, there's no actual growth.

What we want is to make something that fills utterly the sight and can't be used to make life only bearable.

I think that's a very important part of what we need in this country, is that sense that we have lived through so many stages and that we are entering into a new stage where we could create something completely different.
