I've seen people, when they get into these bigger and bigger jobs, it goes to their heads. I've seen it. Some people in life change who they are, and some don't. I'm basically the same guy I've always been.
Sentiment: POSITIVE
When someone becomes successful or rich and famous, people perceive that person as being different. But I'm the same guy I've always been.
Some people get in the way of change happening. Some people spend their whole careers thinking they can make a difference. Other people want to do as little as possible to get the day done.
There is no change - I'm as deep or as shallow as I ever was. What's new is on-the-job experience. This is what you gain with years.
I have lived my life that way and I expect the people who work for me to be the same way.
People all over are finding themselves in jobs they never thought they'd be in.
You see and work with many of the same people over and over again; they are all specialists in what they do. I could never do their jobs, and they say they wouldn't know how to start to do a warm-up.
In terms of doing work and in terms of learning and evolving as a person, you just grow more when you get more people's perspectives... I really try and live the mission of the company and... keep everything else in my life extremely simple.
Most people spend their whole lives looking for the right job. There are others who never get an opportunity to do work that fulfils them.
Wow, I think you grow all the time when you're working. You start the job and by the end of it, if it's a long one, you kind of say, 'My God, I was so different at the start of this job.' I always feel like I've changed for the better with each one.
The more you work, the more people can see that you're something different from what's come before.
