I can even respect people's decisions and lifestyle choices just as I hope they have the courtesy to respect my decisions and my choices.

Our minds do understand that people of all races find genuine love in many places. We dig that the world is full of amazing options.

I relate to both my Caucasian side and my African side, and I love that.

As far as I'm concerned, and this is a big theme of mine, I'm not interested in white people loving me. It's an unrealistic expectation. Black people don't love anybody but themselves.

Some of my toughest races are people I've known, because it gets more personal than it should be.

Every race is totally different.
