When I was 16 or 17, when I started, I never even considered not doing a project. I just wanted to work.

Once I got out of architecture school I decided not to be an architect, I just started my own little design studio.

I just fell into the job as a fashion editor at a teen magazine. I was there for two years, and I left there as a senior fashion editor at the age of 25.

I feel I am a role model to many, not just for my designs, but also for the fact that I started my own company with the help of my two friends. I became a success story, and people relate to that.

I am very excited to be able to work more with young designers and support them.

I never really felt like my age stopped people from wanting to work with me. I was speaking at conferences and lecturing at universities at 18, and I think that was mainly because web developing and management was a really young industry.
