When you think of 'Biggest Loser,' you think of it as a TV show. But people are coming to lose weight. I take that very seriously.

I take issue with those who criticize 'The Biggest Loser' for pushing contestants too hard. The whole point is to push them hard. Otherwise, there's no change.

It's more interesting for me as an audience member to see a movie about a loser.

It's OK to sit in the Golden Globe room and look around and think, 'Oh, Helen Mirren's a loser tonight, so is Nicole Kidman. Meryl Streep lost tonight. Jessica Lange didn't win.' If you're gonna be in the company of losers, that's the company to be in.
