For me, the world that I inhabit in reality is probably a very different world than the one people expect that I would be in.

So, we, as human beings, live in a very imprecise world. A world where our perceptions of reality are far more important than actual reality.

What is this world that is hastening me toward I know not what, viewing me with contempt?

I see the world from a very specific perspective. It is how I grew up. It is what I am proud of, and I vocalize it. And for those who have not experienced my experience, it is odd, and it's not mainstream.

The world doesn't understand me and I don't understand the world, that's why I've withdrawn from it.

The world is... the natural setting of, and field for, all my thoughts and all my explicit perceptions. Truth does not inhabit only the inner man, or more accurately, there is no inner man, man is in the world, and only in the world does he know himself.

The world we live in is vastly different from the world we think we live in.

I don't belong in the world. That's what it is. Something separates me from other people.

If you're trained in metaphysics, you don't see the world as distinct from yourself. You are one with the world.

I never felt a feeling that I knew or could know to be unlike the feelings of other people. I never consciously thought, except after patterns that the world or my fellows set for me.
