The world we live in is vastly different from the world we think we live in.

My perspective is that you should be IN the world, but not OF the world.

When you're surrounded by people who share the same set of assumptions as you, you start to think that's reality.

It's just so cool when you meet people who are different than you are. That can give you a different perspective, a viewpoint on life, or inspire you. I mean, what would the world be like if we were all the same? I think it would be very boring.

Luckily the whole world is not like me, or else, there would be no world.

When you get to see the world, it changes you. You realise that there are all kinds of people out there.

I don't belong in the world. That's what it is. Something separates me from other people.

Basically, I tend to see the world differently to other people, and I write books and stories to alter the imagination of people so that they also see the world in a different way.

How could this world be so unlike the world that I believed I was living in? I can't describe it. Do I not want to describe it, or do I simply not possess the vocabulary?

We don't live in the world of reality, we live in the world of how we perceive reality.
