Politicians or pundits can distort or cherry-pick climate science any way they want to try and gain temporary influence with the public. But any serious industrialist who's facing 'climate exposure' - as it's now called by money managers - cannot afford to engage in that sort of self-delusion.

It's hardly surprising that the corporate aliens lie when it comes to the relationship between doing something about climate change and the economy.

Unfortunately the global warming hysteria, as I see it, is driven by politics more than by science.

The whole climate change debate gives - and there are all kinds of quotes from adherents of and promoters of climate change - the reason they're doing it is it's such a great opportunity to control, you know, pretty much, government, and control your lives.

Labor believes in sustainability. We believe in acting on climate change, not just talking about it.

People in all walks of life, and especially business, do not want to experience the collapse of cities like New York along with global finance and economy in chaos, but this is what business faces if we continue to attribute climate change to fossil fuels alone.
