Sometimes I think everything I touch turns into a Page Six item.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I just sit down and the page just comes out and I look at it and the elements that appear on that page have a lot to do with what's going on in my life.
I'm writing a book. I've got the page numbers done.
When I sit down with my notebook, when I start scribbling words across the page, I find out what I'm feeling.
Sometimes things just fall out of your head on the paper, and if you're smart, you learn not to touch them.
Once I get over maybe a hundred pages, I won't go back to page one, but I might go back to page fifty-five, or twenty, even. But then every once in a while I feel the need to go to page one again and start rewriting.
Touch is one of the most intuitive things in the world.
Occasionally it does hit me, the words on a page. And I still love doing that, as I have for the last 60 years.
Normally, when I read a script, I read 30 pages, and then go have a cup of tea and come back. And then, I read 20 pages and go make a phone call, and then go back to it.
I'm not on Page Six, because I don't have anything salacious happening in my life... unfortunately.
If I have the option, I always read the paper or a book or something I can touch and destroy in my own hands.
