From a relatively early age I got interested in business.

I remember when I was young, I was watching TV, and my father came into the room, agitated, and told me to start a business. I was eight years old.

By the mid-70s, I wanted to get out of the business. I was tired anyway.

The reason I grew so fast in the supermarket business, without help of the banks in those days, was through my vendors. I convinced my vendors, the companies I was doing business with, if I did more business, they would do more business.

I ran my own business when I was 19, buying condos and renovating apartment buildings.

I've had 79 to 80 years of show business. I started when I was 5 with a man called Tom Mix. I didn't have time to go to school because I was in silent movies, I was in radio, I was in burlesque, I worked with the circus. I'm all show business!

As the years passed, and I was nine, 10, 11 years old, it became obvious I was going to start up a business of some sort.

I started the site when I was 19. I didn't know much about business back then.
