The greatest threat to Medicare is Obamacare, and we're going to stop it.

We shouldn't be undermining Medicare for those who need it most in order to give more tax cuts to those who need them least.

And so for the next three months, Washington will be consumed with the Democrats trying to jam this through in a very messy procedure an unpopular health care bill.

There's a need to reform Medicare, but not a need to cut a half trillion dollars out of Medicare.

I would hope that we could have this in an adult fashion and stop demagogueing the issue anytime you talk about any substantive reforms that will actually save social security and save Medicare and save the system from imploding on itself.

How we continue to fund Medicare and Medicaid into the future is a pressing issue of national concern.

I have to tell you as a doctor, 25 years of practice, not as a politician using talking points, as somebody who has taken care of Medicare patients, we can make it a lot better.
