If you're treated a certain way you become a certain kind of person. If certain things are described to you as being real they're real for you whether they're real or not.

I love people who are real.

Some people may look at you almost like a fantasy at times, you know; some people don't think you're real. Because people forget that celebrities are humans too, sometimes.

I think there is a little magic in the fact that I'm so totally real but look so artificial at the same time.

I'm not in the business of meddling with people's destinies - and yes, my characters are real people to me. They have histories and thoughts and yearnings and hurts and misgivings and pleasures that don't belong to me.
