I have not been more robust towards female rather than male assembly members and I do not believe I have been remotely sexist.

I especially don't want men coming up to me and asking if sexism still exists. It's like, I'm seriously gonna barf a McDonald's salad on the next person to do that.

You don't realize it until you go out and take a look, but there are so many ways in which sexism is just allowed in our culture, not just in the entertainment industry. It's just allowed to be there, and that's not acceptable anymore. And I think it's really important to be very vocal.

You are not any different. You can do anything you want. So many times, I've been asked what I think of women stand-ups. If you actually look around, there are so many female comedians starring in the biggest TV shows.

I think I was aware when I started doing stand-up, especially on my own, that, yeah, I'm getting up on stage, and I'm a woman, and I dress in a sort of typically feminine fashion.

You've got to quit lowering your standards. Set your requirements up front so when a guy hooks you, he has to know this is business.

I think, as a woman in action in the business, you would be stupid not to express interest. Any female action role that presents itself as an opportunity I would throw myself at!
