In my lab, we're interested in the transition from chemistry to early biology on the early earth.

I wanted to understand the secrets behind my chemical experiments and behind the processes in nature.

I had a great chemistry teacher and found it really interesting to learn how things are made up and how they work.

This work made me more and more interested in biological matter, and I decided that I really wanted to work on the X-ray analysis of biological molecules.
