While I'm writing YA, I can't read YA, and the same with adult. I usually only listen to music while I'm writing YA.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I do listen to a lot of music, but I don't listen when I'm writing.
I rarely listen to music while writing. I wish I could, but it distracts me.

I can't listen to music when I'm writing. I like music best in a car or on the train.
I don't listen to music when I write - I find it distracting.
I write while listening to music, mostly because the world beyond my headphones is too chaotic.
But I never listen to music while I'm writing.
