I think there are a lot of pictures to make. I sometimes question whether I'm even an artist or just a painter. To me, the making of the pictures is the most important thing.

I, in the end, make art for myself.

I love creating images, of course, because I'm an artist.

I make big objects that are simple, bright and clear, kind of ironic but hopefully funny because I love the shapes, and I get inspiration from toys and books, and I believe in art for everyone.

To me, that is the essence of me as a photographer. It is those ideas, working with them, formulating them and eventually putting them down on paper, photographing them and then going on to the next step.

I photograph the things that I do not wish to paint, the things which already have an existence.

I make paintings, try to get others to look at them and hopefully buy them.

It's good to make your own things because you can have control of your own art.

Art is such a personal experience, I really try to make my own thing.

I don't feel I'm trying to make art. I'm trying to make interesting things. People can relate to that.
