It's funny that it all becomes about clothes. It's bizarre. You work your butt off and then you win an award and it's all about your dress. You can't get away from it.

I don't want anyone to get seriously hurt. But I do watch awards shows to critique the clothes while I sit around eating chips in my sweat pants and in hopes of seeing some hilarious accidental nudity.

You have to have an awareness of where you're going, what the event is, what you're promoting, and who the audience is. That always informs the way you dress.

I'm not really an awards person. I've got a couple of gongs over my time, but I tend to be snubbed anyway for some reason.

Awards shows mainly publicize the people giving the awards.
