Whether we're happy with our circumstances or not, giving God praise is so important.

As with all commandments, gratitude is a description of a successful mode of living. The thankful heart opens our eyes to a multitude of blessings that continually surround us.

Today we thank God for all the blessings He has bestowed upon this great Country and ask Him to continue to heal our land and meet our needs - and we do so through the power of prayer.

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Humans love truth and justice, and rejoice in ceremonies that honor those qualities. For that sentiment we should indeed thank God.

We should give the Lord the excellence He deserves in everything we do.

All our actions, as well as our thoughts and words, should praise Him who always blesses us.

Everything I've set out to do, I've achieved, and all the praise goes to God.

So I'm very grateful for everything that has happened in my life.

I am thankful for all the blessings and talents I have been given, but most of all I am thankful for my loving and supportive family.
