Ideally, really ideally, you want to get to a place where you can have creative control over the material you do - choices, at least, anyway. And you want your choice of script and role. But do you really want your life to revolve around trying to maintain your privacy?

I've got one outlet now - music - and it's great to be able to sign someone that excites me. I'd like to also be able to do that with the scripts I get or books or TV shows... I'm not going to limit myself.

I'd love to work on a script in collaboration.

I'd like to build a way for people doing good work to connect, to learn from each other, protect each other, and then I want to get out of their way.

I have this group of friends that I'll send my scripts to before I send them to a large audience.

Sometimes I want to do something that's really funny and other times I read an indie script that is going to be made for nothing but I want to do it because I think that I can connect with something in the story.

I like to connect to people in the virtual world, exchanging thoughts and ideas, when in the physical world we might never have the opportunity to cross paths.

I guess I'm trying to write stuff that I, as a viewer, would connect to.

If you're gonna make connections which are innovative... you have to not have the same bag of experiences as everyone else does.
