I kind of lived by the code of 'I'm going to be a hard-working guy.' And no matter how successful, there is something I can do better. That's kind of the drive I live on.

I just feel like bands always need to work harder than the hardest working band. You need to constantly be one-upping yourself and surprising yourself at how hard that you'll work and devote yourself to your craft.

I'm curious how people build up the codes that they live their life by, and how they come to think that that's the best way for them to function.

Bands today have to learn their craft by putting the hard work in that we did when we were young performers.
