There's no such thing as simple. Simple is hard.

You come to realize people are not simple.

It is far more difficult to be simple than to be complicated; far more difficult to sacrifice skill and easy execution in the proper place, than to expand both indiscriminately.

That's been one of my mantras - focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it's worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.

Everyone is complicated one way or another. But it's interesting to dig into a complicated character, to try to find that within yourself.
