Had I pursued my education long enough to learn all the conventional dos and don'ts of starting a business, I often wonder how different my life and career might have been.

This life and this job and this position that I'm put in, it forces you to grow up quick. I definitely got dropped in the deep end.

I think as you grow up, you have the adjustment to responsibilities. Now you could say that's easy or not easy... but that's a difficult period of your life. You have the loss of loved ones, which then means you have more responsibilities. Periods in business when things don't run evenly.
