I had a doctorate in biological anthropology. I got a post-doc at CWRU dental school in 1983 teaching gross anatomy.

I was in the military, and then I went to university to study biology.

I had to relearn how to ride a horse like an ape. I had to change how I jumped off and how I gripped them with my thighs and distribute my weight differently.

I thought I was going to be a veterinarian. I was good in science and in math, and I loved animals.
