What people pray for will tell you more than anything else whether they are locked into the vision and priorities of the church.

I prayed every night that God would keep my family safe. But as far as religion goes, I feel like everyone should have their own one-on-one with God.

I certainly know that I would not be able to survive if it were not for the fact that I am being upheld by the prayers of so many people.

All I'm saying is, is God the god who we look to for comfort during tragedies? Is he the god who can control all those things, or is he the god that we don't even trust with our daily lives... As long as there's prayer and exams, as long as there's games, there will be prayers.
