It's not true and will never be true that someone who knows nothing can sit in a basement and make great music.

People go to movies or listen to music because they want to be inspired.

As far as I'm concerned, the whole point of making music is to get it heard by as many people as possible.

People are already finding ways to make their music and play it in front of people and have a life in music, I guess, and I think that's pretty much all you can ask.

If somebody would come and they're not playing music, they would encounter certain people on another level.
