There are lots of things I won't eat but would like to, such as croissants or ice cream - if I started, I'd scoff the whole tub.

I had always thought that once you grew up you could do anything you wanted - stay up all night or eat ice-cream straight out of the container.
If there's something in the kitchen I like, it must be eaten. I try not to leave any snacks I wouldn't want to eat on a daily basis in the cupboard.
Absolutely eat dessert first. The thing that you want to do the most, do that.
I often eat Skippy's Super Chunk peanut butter out of the jar with a spoon. I don't shamefully sneak it in the dark of night when everyone is in bed. I just twist that cap off and go to town right out in the open.
But really I'm not terribly interested in what I eat.
But I don't do the diet thing anymore. I'm a big believer in feeding your body what it needs. Deny yourself something and you're going to end up shoving your face full of it.
If I have a weakness, it's probably ice cream. That's where I get lax, sloppy. I'll sneak into the refrigerator at night and take two or three bites and put it back. Butter pecan. Only two or three bites, but it shows.
I would snack on crisps and chocolate and my meals weren't the best. I ate lots of steak with creamy sauces, chips and peas, washed down with wine and a pudding.
When I'm on a strict eating regimen, at some point I have to have French fries, a cheeseburger and some pizza. And Oreos and vanilla ice cream!
My last meal on Earth, I would love it to be a bowl of blueberries with cold cream.
