It felt like a very, very weird thing to go on the set on September 13th. I would never want to glorify that.
Sentiment: NEGATIVE
I remember going to the theatre when I was little and the lights going down and just getting really scared about what was going to happen up there.
There's nothing I liked visually of the period I was a child. There was no dream in it, and nothing sparkled.
I remember being on a black-and-white set all day and then going out into daylight and being amazed by the colour.
Even colors were important to me. If it was a somber scene, the colors were muted and dark. If it was a happy or seductive scene, the colors were brighter.
When I was grounded, I wouldn't be allowed to go on set. That's how much I loved it.
It was a lot of fun on the set. I had the most fun making that movie out of all of them. I'm sure if I sat and thought about it, but none that I could think of offhand.
Even though 'Hemlock Grove' was a serious, supernatural mystery, it was pretty fun on set. It was a light mood.
I thought The Visitation was good fun. We did some of that filming at Ealing on the big set.
It was weird because I was pregnant, throughout that so it was weird being a pregnant witch. I was in a really bad mood but luckily, because I sleep with the director, he just sort of scheduled me so I only had to do it two nights.
It was quite natural - the first day I got to the set I was really nervous, but I loved the whole experience.
