Really, coaching is simplicity. It's getting players to play better than they think that they can.

What is a coach? We are teachers. Educators. We have the same obligations as all teachers, except we probably have more influence over young people than anybody but their families. And, in a lot of cases, more than their families.

To be successful in coaching you have to treat your team like a family. The leader needs backing from everyone.

And, coaching has never been an option for me.
