We have to prove to the disinherited majority of the world that ecology and conservation will not work against their interest but will bring an improvement in their lives.

If you look at the state of our planet, the next generations won't be around if we consider sustainability as a gimmick.

Now, the downside to conservation is that so much is done for the public, which almost always mars the environment that one wanted to conserve.

Sustainability is no longer about doing less harm. It's about doing more good.

We've got to step up our conservation efforts before it's too late. We're not protecting our lands and natural resources. Take the Grand Canyon for example; I'm sure that at one time it was a beautiful piece of land, and just look at the way we've let it go.

The planet will get better; it's us that won't be here because we'll destroy the environment.

We have serious challenges regarding climate change, unsustainable use of natural resources, water scarcity, loss of biodiversity, forests and farmland. Not to mention the huge inequality still prevailing in several parts of the planet.

Unless we practice conservation, those who come after us will have to pay the price of misery, degradation, and failure for the progress and prosperity of our day.

Yet, despite our many advances, our environment is still threatened by a range of problems, including global climate change, energy dependence on unsustainable fossil fuels, and loss of biodiversity.

Sustainability is the key to our survival on this planet and will also determine success on all levels.
