I kind of feel like people like to dump on 'Home Improvement,' and I don't know why.

I love lifestyle stuff, I love housewares. I'm really a homebody, honestly. Anything to do with my kitchen, or my house, I'm all about it. I'm working on a sauce line, so that's kind of exciting. I'm a saucier.

My life at home is super simple. My local bar with my mates, cooking for my mother, making tables, planting vegetables: It's the classic idea of the artistic existence.

What's lovely about what I do for a living is the vast chasm of variety that constantly just comes at you from all angles.

What my home life is like now is great.

I guess I could take things from every place that I've been and find something familiar and wonderful about it that makes me feel like I'm at home.

My house. It's kind of eccentric. It's two decades worth of accumulated personal projects. Yeah, it is pretty dense in my house.

The thing I love is that my home life hasn't changed. I still help out with the garbage. I still help out with the lawn.

I've always been a homemaker, like, I like creating spaces. Even if I stay in a hotel, I'll unpack, I'll put my books out, I'll put my camera out, I'll throw a sweater over the lamp to get better light. I am a homemaker.

I watch a lot of home stuff; I like seeing things go from one thing to another and get fixed up.
